Slow Cooker Chili Recipe
Chili in the slow cooker! This is a hearty comfort food, perfect for a cool fall or winter day! It is great to come home from a busy day to the smell of a delicious crock pot of chili waiting to be enjoyed 🙂 This recipe makes around 6 – 8 servings. I often freeze half for later!

Chili
This Slow Cooker Chili recipe typically makes two meals – one for now and one to freeze for later.
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 bottle tomato juice
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can chili beans
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1 small onion
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 cup water

Cook ground beef in skillet, drain if necessary. Pour into slow cooker

Chop peppers and onion into small pieces. Add to slow cooker.

Pour diced tomatoes, chili beans, and tomato juice into slower cooker.

Add garlic, chili peppers, paprika, salt, and pepper to slow cooker.

Stir well to thoroughly mix ingredients.

Cook on low temp for 6 – 10 hours.

Add in the corn starch diluted in 1/2 cup of water.

Serve immediately or store in freezer safe container for up to six months.
